In this world, nothing is as simple as they looked.Most of the text messages and images have more than one meaning. When we watching something, the first thing that go threw to our mind is denotation, then connotation.We will think about what it is, but if we observe things carefully, we will find out the deeper meaning of things. Today I will show a picture which is not as simple as it looked, and this image also reflects lots of reality.

When I watch this image at the first time, I can only see a women is crying, and there is a little hand under her face. I really want to find out the connotation of this image, after I looked the background of this image, I got shocked. In 2017 December 5th, people find this lady in Balukhali camp near the Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. She is crying with her kids in sanctuary. She has no where to go because her village got burned down by enemy soldiers. After that，She walked with her children for 10 days and finally arrived Bangladesh. Unfortunately, her husband was missing. When she talked about her missing husband,She burst into tears, finally all of the people in sanctuary got rescued.

From this image, I am not only feel pity for this lady, but also realize the cruelties of war. I can’t imagine how many people have lost their dearest family during the war. The war took everything away from these people.Until now, there are still some countries which are sink into the war. In the future, I don’t want to see war happen anymore.War will take many innocent lives away,and also broken up countless families.

Back to this week’s topic, a simple message can reflect this much of message. When we watch something, don’t judge it from the outside, connotation is more important than the outside.
