The project that we are working on is Mandarin teaching, I am doing this project with my partner ShuNing Li.
We decided to do this project because there are lots of international students in Australia, and most of them are Chinese. We are expect a better communication between Australian and Chinese, and Learning mandarin is a good way to realize this goal. We come to Australia to not only finish the university study, but also improve our English level. Learning a new language can let people make more friend and also understand more on their culture.
So we decided to create a YouTube channel which is about mandarin teaching, we are trying to teach some basic knowledge about Chinese, we also want to teach you guys the most useful word in Chinese, so when you heard other people who is speaking Chinese, you can understand what is he saying roughly.

We have post 3 videos on YouTube, in the first video we were talk about our DA, explained what we want to do and what we will do next. After that we post 2 more video, one of them is teaching some Chinese words which will be useful when you go to Chinese restaurant, and another one is talking about nouns in Chinese, such as tree, house, sea and etc…
Unfortunately，until now we only got 1 subscriber which is not what we are expected to see.. We didn’t see any comment under our video. We realize that the video we made before were kind boring.. We focus too much on teaching but didn’t put any funny content such as memes. It is kind hard for me to make the video funny, I can’t even smile properly when I face to the camera, this is the biggest problem that I need to solve.
In the rest of the semester, we will post more video on our channel. We will try to make the video more interesting, and figure it out what content that audiences want to see the most.We are trying to get more subscriber in the coming videos, and also add some meme into the video, to let people can not only learn something which is useful, but also not feel bored when they are watching our video.
We will make our channel better, hopefully we can get more and more comment and feedback under our video.
